It’s no secret that Wendy Williams has had cosmetic surgery!
The working mother whose in her late 40s looks amazing, and whether she’s on “Dancing With the Stars” or she’s posing for the cover of Star! magazine, she’s a woman that gets what she wants as soon as she’s able to get it.
An author and personality, Williams is completely unashamed of her plastic surgery past, which includes breast implants, liposuction and a tummy tuck, and she seems more than pleased with the results she’s gotten with the help of her surgeon.
Why Did Wendy Williams Get Cosmetic Surgery?
It’s the same question whenever a celebrity admits to cosmetic procedures, whether it’s Susan Sarandon’s latest cosmetic surgery or the latest Kim Kardashian plastic surgery rumors. In Wendy Williams case she summed it up very succinctly in one of her books:
“If I had told my parents my plans, they would have probably said something like, ‘Liposuction? Wendy, all you have to do is push back from the table. A good diet and exercise will fix all of that.’ Who the hell wants to diet and exercise when you can have liposuction. I didn’t want to wait. I wanted my new body now.”
That pretty much sums it all up neatly right there.
Williams was a woman that knew exactly what she wanted, and she wanted it now and saw no reason to wait any longer.
She increased her breast size, expanding a fairly flat chest to the larger than life bosom she now sports, and she had fat taken out of her belly and her thighs with liposuction.
After the birth of her child she also decided to get a tummy tuck to help out her looks and to begin erasing some of the damage that had been done to her body by giving birth.
Wendy’s Before and After Pictures
While some people might revile her among the worst plastic surgery celebrities, Williams’ candid and open air about what she wanted done combined with her lack of shame about the procedures is part of a rising trend in Hollywood for stars and starlets to just say what they did.
And looking at the pictures of Williams, it’s hard to argue with the results that she achieved at the hands of a good plastic surgeon.
While she might bear a resemblance to a Julie Bell painting, there is no denying that she looks amazing.
This is especially true given that Williams is nearly into her 50s, and with the aid of surgery and attention to cosmetics, she could probably pass for a decade younger if she put her mind to it.
Williams is one of the few celebrities that seem to get coverage when plastic surgery goes well.
Usually people are only interested if things go wrong, or if a celebrity is completely out of control. With Wendy Williams’s cosmetic surgery though it’s very obvious that what we have is a woman that knew what she wanted, and got it.
